CUSTOMISED ONE-TO-ONE PRENATAL AND POSTNATAL SUPPORT

Whether you are expecting your first baby, or your little one has already arrived, you’re likely feeling overwhelmed, a little anxious about what to expect, sleep deprived, or completely unsure of what advice to follow.

 

You are NOT alone.

You don’t have to struggle because you feel you don’t want to ask for help.

It’s okay to feel like you can’t cope, and that the parenting things that should come naturally, don’t.

They’ll tell you the Mummy instinct will kick in after a few weeks, but they could be wrong.

You need someone who will be on your side no matter what. Someone who will hear you when you say it isn’t working, and won’t tell you that you’re imagining it, or that it’ll magically change.

I’m on your side. As a Parent and Baby Consultant, I help you gain the knowledge and confidence you need in those first few weeks or months while you navigate your new role as a mum. Together we will find your intuition, so you can learn to trust it. And you will learn to give yourself permission to need, and take, time for you.

What can I do to help?

  • Let’s talk about your expectations while you are pregnant. Postnatal plans are just as important than birth plans in my world
  • I can support you through the bonding process, and getting to know your new baby
  • I can provide feeding support,

-if you are breastfeeding, I can offer one on one guidance with

  • Positioning

  • Nutrition Advice
  • Anxiety around feeding
  • Feeding patterns

-if you are bottle feeding

  • Recommendations on formula
  • Bottle feeding techniques
  • Amount of feeds your baby needs
  • Creating good feeding patterns
  • Help with mixed feeding

Supporting and encouraging you to gain confidence with

  • Nappy changing
  • Bathing
  • Swaddling
  • Settling
  • Recognising your baby’s sleep needs.

Getting help early will also minimize challenges that are very common

in the first weeks

Such as

  • Reflux
  • Colic
  • Sleep deprivation
  • Tongue tie
  • Lactation issues

The support I provide doesn’t have to be limited to those early weeks. I provide ongoing support as your baby grows, including:

  • support to transition baby from bassinet to cot
  • feeding support when starting solids
  • dealing with sleep regressions and the anxiety they can cause
  • teething
  • all of the other challenges having an infant can bring

Because Mum is important too, I take a special interest in your wellbeing. With experience as a personal fitness instructor, training as a relaxation massage therapist, a professional and personal interest in women’s health, and a passion for natural and holistic wellbeing, I am well placed to provide the personal support and balance a new mum deserves.

All one-to-one support is tailored to the individual needs of mum, baby, and the family unit.

One-to-one support can be applied as a package, or based on an hourly rate (minimum hours do apply for the hourly rate option). One-to-one support is also available outside the Auckland area where applicable.
