As you are nearing the end of your pregnancy you may start to think about planning for the birth of your baby. Birth plans can be a great start to acknowledge what is important to you and your baby. How you like to delivery your baby, pain relief and who will be your support network. The challenge with birth plans is that things don’t always go to plan. Your baby will be delivered the safest way. If this means there needs to be changes made to the plan, interventions sought such as forceps or c-section delivery.
Often I see mums feel disappointed, angry and overwhelmed because their plans have failed them. This is why postnatal plans are far better than birth plans. Postnatal plans are more goal orientated and are also less likely to disappoint plus not to mention will give you so much more clarity and results of enjoying the first few days and weeks because they are more achievable.
So I have set up a PDF for you to start your postnatal plan ahead of time. Feel free to download and start your personal postnatal journey that works for you and your baby.
